PHOENIX — Officials are investigating a possible road rage shooting along Interstate 10 near 43rd Avenue on Wednesday morning.

DPS says a man was shot in the leg at around 10 a.m. while traveling in the westbound lanes.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment. His current condition is unclear.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the shooting appears to be related to road rage but have not said if they have a suspect description.

No other details have been provided.
