WICKENBURG, AZ — Multiple units from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office are on the scene of a downed airplane south of the Wickenburg Airport.
The crash happened early Thursday morning, at 355th Avenue and Smokehouse Trail, near Whispering Ranch south of Wickenburg.
According to MCSO, the plane had engine trouble and performed an emergency landing.
Both people on the plane have sustained minor injuries.
