TEMPE, AZ — Arizona State University says a student-athlete remains hospitalized after collapsing during an outdoor exercise last week.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday morning and involved a member of the ASU hockey team, school officials say.
Specific details about the incident were not immediately available, but ASU says the student-athlete remains in the hospital. Their condition is not currently known.
"The university offers its support for the student-athlete, their family and all of our student-athletes during this difficult time," ASU said in a media release.
