BUCKEYE, AZ — A 12-year-old girl is facing charges after she allegedly threatened to shoot other students at school on Wednesday morning.

Buckeye police say they were called to Westpark Elementary School around 9:30 a.m. for a reported threat at the school.

Police learned that a seventh grader had threatened to shoot other students at the school.

Officers did not find a gun on campus during the investigation.

The girl is facing charges for threats and disorderly conduct.
