PHOENIX — A woman is recovering in the hospital after a shooting near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street early Monday morning.
Authorities say officers responded to the area around 2:30 a.m. and found a woman who had been shot.
The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The area remains shut down while police conduct their scene investigation.
