GLENDALE, AZ — A woman has died after a house fire in Glendale early Sunday morning.
Glendale police say they were first called to the home near 67th and Peoria avenues around 1:30 a.m. for a reported house fire.
A 76-year-old woman, Serlina Yuk-King Yee, reportedly died due to smoke inhalation during the blaze.
Her 77-year-old husband remains hospitalized, also due to smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
