MESA, AZ — A child is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a "drowning incident" in Mesa.
On Thursday afternoon, emergency crews were called to a home near University Drive and Signal Butte Road for a reported drowning.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says the child was taken to a hospital and has not provided any other details, including the child's age.
The investigation remains ongoing.
