PHOENIX — Abraham Quintanilla Jr., the father of late Tejano music icon Selena Quintanilla, has died, according to his family.
His son, Abraham “A.B.” Isaac Quintanilla III, announced the death in a social media post Saturday.
“It’s with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today,” he wrote.
No cause of death has been released.
Quintanilla Jr. was a manager for Selena during the early part of her career.
