PHOENIX — Phoenix fire officials say that two adults and two children were taken to a hospital after a crash on Friday.
Fire crews found two vehicles involved around 7 p.m. near 19th and Southern avenues.
Two children and two adults suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle, an adult, was not hurt.
Investigators say the adult driving alone was heading north on 19th Avenue and turning left onto Southern Avenue when he hit the vehicle carrying the four others.
The driver allegedly showed signs of impairment and was processed for DUI, according to police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
