Thousands of people were without power after strong storms moved through parts of the Valley Thursday night.

As of 10:40 p.m., there were approximately 12,000 SRP customers without power. Early Friday morning, that number was down to around 300 customers.

APS reports that about 3,600 customers were in the dark as of 10:40 p.m. By around 4:30 a.m. Friday, those outages appeared to be almost completely restored.

Some areas of the Valley were also left with damage.

ABC15's Jamie Warren visited a residential complex near 7th Street and Northern Avenue, where a tree and a carport were down on vehicles in a parking lot.

A roof was also seen torn off a home in the East Valley, along with uprooted trees and other damage to homes.
