AVONDALE, AZ — A woman is in critical condition after a shooting inside an Avondale apartment early Saturday morning.
Police say it happened around 6:30 a.m. near Dysart and McDowell roads.
When officers got to the scene, they found a woman who had been shot.
She was rushed to the local Hospital and is in critical condition.
One person has been detained, and detectives are working to figure out what led to the shooting.
Police say there’s no ongoing threat to the community.
