Arizona's electricity consumption is climbing, but the growth isn't coming from where you might expect.
Commercial businesses are now driving the largest increases in power usage, with an 11% jump in 2024 compared to just 3.7% growth in residential use.
A primary reason for the power surge is the corresponding rise in data centers across the Valley.
