CHANDLER, AZ — A 12-year-old child has been taken to a hospital after being involved in a crash while on an electric bicycle.

At around 1 p.m. Monday, Chandler Fire and Police crews responded to a crash at Gilbert and Queen Creek roads for a crash.

Officials say the child was on an e-bike when the crash occurred and was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Details of what led to the crash have not been provided.

The investigation is ongoing.
