PHOENIX — Phoenix Fire Department officials say a person was found dead in a canal near 43rd Avenue and Osborn Road Thursday morning.
First responders were called to the scene before 7 a.m. for reports of someone in the water.
A man was pulled from the water, unconscious and not breathing, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there are no signs of foul play.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the death.
