PHOENIX — Fire crews battled a junkyard fire in south Phoenix Thursday evening.
The fire broke out near 19th Avenue and Broadway Road around 5 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, they say 30 cars in the junk yard had caught fire.
The blaze was contained to a small section on the yard.
No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but it is under investigation.
