PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a shooting near 27th Avenue and McDowell Road that left one person dead.
Officers were called to the area early Sunday morning and found three people had been shot.
One of the victims died at the scene, and the other two were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
It’s still unclear what led up to the shooting.
No suspect information has been released.
The shooting remains under investigation, but police do not believe there is any threat to the public.
