PHOENIX — A deadly shooting investigation is underway in Phoenix early Monday morning.
Officers were first called to the area of 19th Avenue and Greenway Road around 3 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a man with a gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, which is near a gas station. He has been identified as 45-year-old Marcus Adams.
On December 5, the Phoenix Police Department announced 21-year-old Adalberto Cordova Torres was arrested in connection to this shooting as well as two others in Phoenix.
He was arrested and booked into jail to face multiple charges.
The investigation remains ongoing.
