MESA, AZ — A Mesa police motorcycle officer was hurt after being involved in a crash Monday night.
Mesa police say that just after 9 p.m., an officer was involved in a crash with another vehicle near Loop 202 and State Route 24.
The officer was taken to a hospital for injuries that are not considered life-threatening. On Tuesday, officials said the officer is recovering and is in good spirits.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
