Phoenix Suns to host free open practice, fan festival at Talking Stick Resort Arena

Phoenix Suns fans will soon have a chance to see No. 1 draft pick Deandre Ayton and the rest of the team in action at no cost.

The Suns will host a free open practice at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix beginning at noon on Saturday, Sept. 29. Fans will have the chance to win prizes and take advantage of discounted food items, including $2 hot dogs, popcorn and soda.

Before the practice, a fan festival will take place inside the Casino Arizona Pavilion beginning at 10:30 a.m. A live DJ, interactive photo booth, face painter and balloon animals will be part of the festivities. During the practice, the Suns will take part in an intra-squad scrimmage. 

Fans who wish to attend are asked to RSVP here. Seating will be first come, first served.

The Suns' first preseason game will take place Oct. 1, and their first regular-season will take place Oct. 17 vs. the Dallas Mavericks in Phoenix.
