The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded outfielder Alek Thomas to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The team made the announcement on Tuesday morning, saying the trade was in exchange for a Dodgers outfielder, 17-year-old Jose Requena.
According to Arizona Sports, the newcomer will head to the Dominican Summer League, according to the transactions log.
Thomas, 26, played five seasons with the D-backs.
