PHOENIX — Phoenix police and fire officials are investigating an RV fire near that left a woman dead.
The fire was reported Friday shortly before 1 a.m near 7th Street and Broadway Road.
A Phoenix Fire Department spokesman said several occupants of the home, off 9th Street near Elwood, were able to escape and the flames were quickly brought under control when crews arrived.
A Phoenix Police Department supervisor at the scene told ABC15 an adult woman was killed.
Video of the incident appears to show the woman trying to escape the mobile home. No other information about that person has been released.
