PHOENIX — Thousands of utility customers are without power around the Valley and state as storms rock the Valley.
According to the SRP outage map, thousands of customers were without power around the Phoenix area. That number dropped to about 300 customers by 8:30 a.m.

According to the APS outage map, about 3,000 customers are without power in the Valley as of 8:30 a.m., with about 16,000 other customers in the dark around other parts of the state.
