It’s no secret that the Arizona summer heat has its downfalls…but there are also lots of benefits — including some amazing staycation deals.

So we did the work so you can escape reality on a dime.

We shared some of our favorite deals from hotels around the Valley including Gainey Suites Hotel, The Scottsdale Plaza Resort, We-Ko-Pa Resort and Conference Center and Hotel Valley Ho.  But the deals don’t stop there!

Honorable mentions also go to Tempe Mission Palms.  Pay $129 per night and get a $50 food and drink credit, late check-out, and no resort fee.

Pay $79 for a deluxe room and complimentary breakfast at the Clarendon Hotelin midtown Phoenix.

Rates start at $99 at Talking Stick Resort.

There's no resort fee and depending on how long you stay you'll get a $25 or $50 credit.

For Arizona residents, the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass has rates starting at $99 if you stay Friday through Sunday.

Rates start at $179 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, with a $50 credit per night.

Also in Scottsdale, the Westin Kierlandhas rates starting at $109 using the promo code “SCOTTSDL”.

In Phoenix, the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resorthas rates starting at $89 per night.

The Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Phoenix has flexible rates starting from $199 per night.  You’ll also get a $25 daily dining credit and there’s no resort fee.

At the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia, the longer you stay, the more you save with their Summer Stay and Save Program.

Get 10% off their lowest rate for one night, 15% off for two nights and 20% off for three nights.

The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spaat Gainey Ranch is also giving you a nightly credit, this time it’s for $50 per night by using the code “COOL50.”  The lowest rate we found is $169.

The Wigwam has a Centennial Thank you package that gets you a $100 credit per stay if you stay two nights.  You’ll need to use the promo code “THANKYOU”.

Gila River Casinos is touting $69 rates.  We found some as low as $62.  But for the weekends, the lowest rate we found through July is $100 per night.

The Moxy Phoenix in Tempe has a Summer Hibernation package starting at $89 per night and it includes a $50 credit, a bucket of beer and late checkout.

You’ll have to stay two nights to get this deal.

The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North has a deal for parents who needs a plan for the kids.

Their rates start at $189 per night.  What’s attractive about this deal is their Kids for All Seasons program.  It’s like having a free sitter for kids ages 5-12 years old!

For many of these deals, you must call to get the discount.

And remember… all deals aren’t what they seem.  It doesn’t mean it’s not a good deal, just may not be exactly what you think you’re getting.

Research is key to knowing which staycation deals are worth buying.  For example, “rates starting at” sometimes means the lower rates are available during the week or are limited and pay attention to resort fees. We did that research too, to help you avoid additional fees.
