Got plans for the weekend? New Wave Market in Old Town Scottsdale is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, July 8 with free mini ice cream cones. Not only is the ice cream made in-house, the waffle cones are too, the work of owner/pastry chef Country Velador!
And talk about timing! July is National Ice Cream Month.
The market offers an expanded menu of breads and baked goods, lunch, grab-and-go items, and locally roasted coffee from Peixoto Coffee.
New Wave Market is the sister concept of Super Chunk Sweets & Treats and the two are adjoining.
New Wave Market has 1,100 square feet of retail space with an expanded dining area. Velador and husband Sergio Velador plan to use the space for regular classes on baking and other crafts as well.
