Police are investigating a shooting in the Laveen area overnight that left two people dead.
According to Phoenix Police, the shooting occurred in a neighborhood near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition and later pronounced dead.
Two people were detained at the scene and interviewed. Evidence of drug sales was found inside the home.
