PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a shooting near 35th and Dunlap avenues Sunday morning.
It happened just before 11 a.m Saturday when new residents were in the process of cleaning the home and they found a man and woman hiding in a closet.
A relative of the resident was startled and shot the man in the closet.
Police say the man was taken to a hospital for treatment and has non-life threatening injuries.
Phoenix police say the relative is cooperating with officers.
