PHOENIX — Police say a 13-year-old boy has died Friday after an incident near Interstate 17 and Jomax Road Sunday.
A 46-year-old woman, identified as Shannon Hursh, and a 13-year old identified as Caden Sarver died after being found with serious injuries caused by blunt force trauma.
Phoenix police say they shot and killed the suspect, 53-year-old Paul Sarver, shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, the suspect went to a neighbor's home and called police saying he was going to take his own life.
Once officers responded to the home they shot and killed the suspect who they believed was armed and approaching them.
When they entered the home, they found the two victims in critical condition, before dying from their injuries.
