The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a forever home for a kitten who suffered severe burns to his body when he was just 17 weeks old.

In May, Benny Cumberbun was brought to Arizona Humane Society’s Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital after a Good Samaritan found him with burns to his hind legs and tail.

AHS says his injuries were so severe, veterinarians were unsure if they would be able to save his back right leg.

Miraculously, after 87 days of treatment and daily rehabilitation exercises, Benny is now looking for the “purrrfect” family for him.

He’s available at AHS’ Sunnyslope campus.
