Talking Stick Resort has postponed some of its concerts and shows because of the damaged it sustained in a series of monsoon storms earlier this month.

The following shows have been postponed:

  • Aug. 11 - JAUZ
  • Aug. 18 - 3LAU
  • Aug. 24 - Terry Fator
  • Sept. 1 - DJ Diesel
  • Sept. 2 - Zedd
  • Sept. 7 - Burton Cummings
  • Sept. 8 - Daughtry

Rescheduled dates have not been announced for any shows, but ticket holders will be notified when they have, the resort said Monday in a statement.

Ticket holders can also request a refund which will be issued by the company the tickets were purchased from. The Box Office can be reached at 480-850-7734.

KMLE's 8 Man Jam concert, scheduled for Aug. 28 has been moved to Casino Arizona's Bingo Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., a station spokesperson said.

Talking Stick Resort has been closed since Aug. 11 after storms knocked out power to the casino and resort and damaged its generators. It is located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community near the Loop 101 and Talking Stick Way.

The resort hoped to open on Sunday, Aug. 19, but delayed that opening last week saying "more time is needed to complete storm damage repairs and to replace the equipment required to ensure the property is up to the highest level of standards to which our guests have grown accustomed."

A new date has not been announced. Those who have upcoming reservations can contact the resort at 866-877-9897.

Those who were on the gaming floor on Aug. 10 or 11 and were evacuated with chips or slot machine validation tickets can redeem them for cash at its sister property, Casino Arizona.
