PHOENIX — If you’ve been wanting to go for a swim, Valley of the Sun YMCA has officially reopened its pools.
Katie Smetana, with Valley of the Sun YMCA, says the pools will have a limited capacity and social distancing will be enforced.
“You’ll also notice on our pool decks for essential equipment we are disinfecting equipment, so we clean life jackets and when we’re done they go into the used life jacket area where then we will disinfect them before they’re used again,” Smetana said.
Valley of the Sun YMCA is also offering swim lessons and a summer child care program.
