PHOENIX — Two juveniles were hurt in separate accidental shootings in Phoenix on Wednesday and Thursday.
Police say the first incident happened around 8:30 a.m. near 16th and Portland streets.
The juvenile, whose exact age was not immediately released, reportedly shot himself and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday morning, another shooting occurred near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road around 9 a.m.
Police say the shooting involved a teenage boy who was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an "accidental self-inflicted shooting."
The investigations are ongoing.
