Two car burglars caught on home surveillance video may be responsible for a string of thefts across the Valley.

“These guys pull up - in, out, gone,” Rick Liston told ABC15.

Around 6 a.m. Wednesday, Liston stopped at his home near 35th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road to drop off a coffee to his wife. Within minutes, his security system recorded two men driving up in a red truck, stopping in the middle of the street, rifling through his car and taking off with his wallet, a cooler, clothes and disc golf gear combined worth around $700.

“Obviously you want to just jump through and kick these guys and teach ‘em a lesson,” he said while watching back the video.

The thieves ran up his bank card at a Home Depot store near 59th Avenue and Loop 101.

From there, Liston believes they may have traveled to another neighborhood near Bethany Home and El Mirage roads in Litchfield Park.

A woman in that area contacted him on Facebook after items were stolen from her garage and she found a receipt with Liston’s name on it.

Liston provided the video to Phoenix police and Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office investigators.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
