Yuma Police Department says two children are in a Phoenix hospital after they were shot in a vehicle on Sunday night.
Officers responded to the scene after reports of shots fired and a woman yelling for help.
The investigation shows that multiple rounds were fired into the car, striking two kids, an 8-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.
Yuma Police says the current condition of the victims is not yet known.
The suspect is believed to have been driving a newer-model white Ford Expedition with smoked tail lights and damage to the driver's rear side door.
