PHOENIX — A Phoenix police sergeant was taken to a hospital Wednesday after he was struck by a vehicle.
Officials say around 11:15 a.m., an on-duty sergeant was in the area of 32nd Street and Sweetwater Avenue, north of Cactus Road, when he was hit.
Phoenix Fire crews arrived and took the sergeant and the driver, a man, of the other vehicle to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
