PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a one-year-old was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after receiving a call for an injured child.
It happened at a home near Interstate 17 and Camelback Road just before 7 p.m.
The child was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Officials say the child's injuries are "suspicious in nature."
The child's parents are with officers and the department is investigating what led to the child's injuries.
