PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a one-year-old was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after an unknown incident on Saturday evening.
Phoenix police were first called to a home near Interstate 17 and Camelback Road just before 7 p.m. for reports of an injured child.
The child was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital, and its injuries are considered "suspicious in nature," according to officials.
The department is investigating what led to the child's injuries.
