PHOENIX — For thousands of children in Arizona with incarcerated parents, the holidays can mean something very different: not being able to celebrate as other families do.
The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry supervises a population of about 35,000 offenders.
That is why groups like 180 PSM and Prison Fellowship work through a program that lets kids know their parent in prison has not forgotten them.
