The City of Tempe continues to attract tech jobs to the Valley.
Willis Towers Watson opened its 92,000-square-foot tech center at 1144 W. Washington St. on Tuesday.
The company is now looking to fill the empty desks with 400 new employees including software engineers, licensed benefit advisors and other service experts.
The office is designed to eventually hold 800 workers.

Our clients and customers around the country will be better off as a result of our stronger presence here," said Managing Director Gene Wickes, leader of Exchange Solutions for Willis Towers Watson.

According to a release from the company: The technology hub and service center will support clients of the company's innovative, private exchange-based services and solutions that enable people to navigate their benefits options with confidence and give employers peace of mind that employers are making the right decisions.
