North Phoenix Fry's open now, includes wine and cheese bars, sushi; 50 Cent to visit

Fry’s workers and customers celebrated the grand opening of its newest Marketplace Store at 1311 E. Bell Rd. in Phoenix on Friday morning.

Councilwoman Debra Stark helped cut the ribbon on the new 124,070 square foot facility.

The new grocery store includes a wine bar, specialty cheese shop, sushi station and Starbucks cafe. This newest Fry's also offers its curbside pick-up program 'ClickList'.  

The supermarket has several events scheduled, including a visit from rapper 50 Cent.  He will be at the store on July 23 to sell signed bottles of his vodka--Effen Vodka--and pose for photos with fans.
