Cool down in the hot temps at one of these Valley pools

Are you dreading the sizzling hot temps over the next few days?  Maybe you're looking for a fun day trip before school is back in session?  With the help of the customer review website Yelp, we've compiled a list of some of the best pools in the Valley along with their admission prices.  Most are family-friendly, others are adult-friendly.
 
 
Big Surf, located in Tempe, is family-friendly.  The popular waterparkalso has rides.  General admission is $29.95 ($19.95 for ages 3 and under)
 
Release Pool Parties happen on the weekends, but this is one you'll want to find a babysitter for.  It's an adult-friendly event at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale with a DJ. All guests must be 21 with a valid form of identification. It's always ladies night, women get in for free, men pay a $10 cover.
 
Golfland Sunsplash in Mesa is one-stop family fun shopping.  It has 30 rides and attractions including waterslides and miniature golf.  General admission is $29.99 per person, but may vary due to daily prices, ages, etc. See their website for more details! 
 
Kiwanis Recreation Center is a family friendly 54,000 square foot complex that is owned and operated by the City of Tempe.  It has a an indoor wave pool, fitness center, gymnasium and a 15-court tennis center. General admission is $5 - $7, go to the website for more details.
 
Hotel Palomar in Downtown Phoenix , which features LUSTRE Rooftop Bar, is another adult-friendly pool party.  Currently it's hosting the 100 Days of Summer pool party series.  Events run through Labor Day.  Prices vary, so check their website ahead of time.
