Want to avoid being taken for a ride by your mechanic? AAA Arizona’s Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program named 37 Arizona repair facilities to receive the AAA Top Shop award for 2016, and 14 are in the Valley. The program is in its 15th year.
“Our AAR program identifies trusted auto repair facilities for our members, and the Top Shop award recognizes the best of those shops,” said John Walter, director of automotive services for AAA Arizona. “We’re proud to recognize new and returning winners this year, especially shops who have received this honor for multiple years.”
To be eligible for the award, the companies have to belong to AAA’s AAR program, which requires them to meet certain criteria, including a 90 percent customer approval rating.
