Founders Brewing Co., a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based brewery, will open a temporary taproom at DeSoto Central Market in downtown Phoenix.
It's part of DeSoto's brewery-in-residence program, which launched in January with Tempe's Huss Brewing Co.
A dozen of Founders' brews, including the All Day IPA, Solid Gold, and Sumatra Mountain Brown, will be available for three months starting Friday, April 27 at the 400-square-foot taproom. (Huss brews will be available through Friday, April 27.)
A kick-off event is scheduled for Cinco de Mayo, May 5 and will feature a special tapping of its Kentucky barrel-aged chocolate coffee stout, a release said.
The hours are Monday - Thursday, 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday, 3 p.m. - midnight; Saturday, 11 a.m. - midnight; and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
