PHOENIX — One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a crash Saturday morning in west Phoenix.
Phoenix police says it happened near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road just after 11:30 a.m.
Phoenix fire crews arrived to find a two-vehicle accident.
The drivers of both vehicles, a man and a woman, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
According to police, the man later died at the hospital.
His identity has not yet been released.
There's no word yet on what caused the crash.
Phoenix police are investigating. They are warning drivers to expect delays as Thomas Road is restricted in both directions in the area.
