TEMPE, AZ — At least five people were hurt in a serious crash on Loop 202 near Priest Drive in Tempe during Tuesday evening's rush hour.
Officials say the crash involved six vehicles.
One of the five people hurt suffered life-threatening injuries.

The eastbound lanes of the freeway were completely shut down for a few hours, but they have since reopened.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
