MESA, AZ — One person is dead after a crash along Loop 202 Red Mountain in Mesa overnight.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of traffic near Alma School Road, Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, and DPS says one person was killed.
What caused the crash is currently under investigation.
The freeway was shut down due to the investigation but has since reopened.
