Driving conditions here in the Valley are something to brag about when compared to the rest of the country.

In a new study, WalletHub compared the 100 most-populated cities across the nation to find out which cities have the best and worst driving conditions. They based these rankings factoring in gas prices, car prices, time spent in traffic, road conditions, and number of crashes.

Out of 100 different cities, five here in the Valley got some of the tops spots.

Scottsdale took the number one spot as the best driving city in America. Gilbert (#4), Mesa (#5), and Chandler (#6) all made it to the top ten list. Phoenix ranked #13 and our neighbors down south in Tucson came in at #2.

Some of the least driver-friendly cities include San Francisco, Detroit, and Washington DC.
