Northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Raintree Drive and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard also closed. Allow extra travel time and expect heavy traffic.
    • Detour: East Valley drivers can consider using westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) in the Tempe area to northbound State Route 51 in Phoenix to avoid the Loop 101 closure. Northbound Loop 101 drivers should consider exiting ahead of the closure and using alternate routes including westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard/Bell Road to northbound State Route 51.
  • Westbound Interstate 10 narrowed to two lanes between Ray Road and 24th Street (near Sky Harbor Airport) from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 25) for Broadway Curve widening project. Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) and westbound US 60 HOV lane ramps to westbound I-10 closed. Westbound I-10 on-ramp at 40th Street closed. Eastbound I-10 then narrowed to two lanes between 24th Street (near Sky Harbor Airport) and Ray Road from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 26) for Broadway Curve widening project. Both I-10 ramps to southbound I-17 at the “Stack” interchange near McDowell Road closed. Southbound I-17 on-ramps at McDowell Road and Grant Street also closed. Westbound I-10 off-ramp at 24th Street closed.
    • Detours: Drivers can consider using I-10 in the downtown Phoenix area as alternate routes.
  • Central Avenue closed in both directions at I-17 from 5 a.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 26) for work on new freeway bridge. Central Avenue limited to local traffic in areas between Buckeye and Broadway roads.
    • Detours: Consider using Seventh Avenue or Seventh Street as alternate routes.

Editor's note: The planned closures on eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) between Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) and Goldfield Road have been postponed due to inclement weather, per ADOT. We have removed that closure from the story.
