PHOENIX — It is no secret the Arizona Diamondbacks are looking for a new place to play, but renderings of a possible stadium have hit the internet mistakenly.
The AZ Snake Pit, an SBNation blog that covers the Diamondbacks, republished photos Thursday that were on the website of stadium architecture firm MEIS Architects. MEIS has since taken down the webpage.
According to the Snake Pit report, the images were taken down just after the writer inquired about the project.
MEIS’s page about the proposed Diamondbacks stadium said it included approximately 38,000 seats, 40 luxury suites, 4,000 club/premium seats and a retractable roof.
