VIDEO: Interference called (and then overturned) on batboy in bizarre play

We've never seen anything quite like this -- and the Mets certainly hope they won't come across this situation again any time soon.

During a game between the Mets and visiting Brewers on Thursday, Brewers shortstop and ASU alum Eric Sogard popped up into foul territory. The Mets' Wilmer Flores went to catch the ball, but he was unable to haul it in after he collided with the Brewers' batboy.

Yes, the batboy.

The initial ruling was that the batter was out due to interference by the batboy. That call was soon overturned, generating a furious reaction by Mets manager Terry Collins.
