After a pair of visits to the Valley last year, WWE's NXT brand is about to visit the Valley once again.
NXT, WWE's developmental brand, will return to Phoenix for a show on Sunday at Comerica Theater at 400 W. Washington St. in Phoenix. Tickets can be purchased here.
A pair of NXT superstars have ties to the Valley. Levi Cooper, who wrestles under the name Tucker Knight, was a star on ASU's wrestling team, and Danielle Kamela, who wrestles under the name Vanessa Borne, was an Arizona Cardinals cheerleader, Phoenix Suns dancer and host for FOX Sports Arizona.
NXT came to Phoenix twice last year.
NXT will also be in the Valley as part of a four-day WWE event in January. NXT Takeover: Phoenix will take place at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix on Jan. 26, one day before the WWE Royal Rumble will be held at Chase Field. WWE Raw and Smackdown will also be held at Talking Stick Resort Arena in the days after the Royal Rumble.
