Phoenix Suns forward Marquese Chriss left the team's Summer League game Thursday after suffering an ankle injury.

The second-year pro rolled his ankle on a play in the second quarter of the Suns' game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies in Las Vegas and was eventually helped off the court. The Suns reported Chriss suffered a left ankle sprain and would not return to the game.

The 20-year-old Chriss was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He averaged 9.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for the Suns in his rookie season.
